As Irideus begins our summer steelheading early this year we have been blessed with many beautiful California steelhead . This is what it is about to us, time on the water. The Irideus Spey Rods and products have now proved their point on the rivers of the world. It was a tough industry to try to share with in a bad economy. We were met by some things that shocked us. We took a step back and let our time on the water and pro tested gear speak for its self before sending a message back to a special few. The beauty of the Irideus fly fishing journey is that it is real. We are a small company with respect for our fish and our fine customers who come back to us. We call you guys our champions and you all mean the world to us. We are proud to keep some things real in a small niche that has been exploited like peanut butter in the name. We still call it keeping it real. You could call us the Peanut in the butter.  The products have been evolved with word of mouth spreading the word for us.
