Fly fishing dogs and the steelheading friends they become

A steelhead fly fishing Queensland healer that was found on the Feather river
Sometimes in life things can change in a heart beat. Some good and some bad, but we must be ready. One day before fly fishing the local run for steelhead we heard a salmon biologist ask, "is this your dog?"As they pulled off to do more work I yelled,"no but I think its going to be."This is the face that waited. No tags, no reports of a loss of this loving steelhead chasing boy. he has been adopted and after curing some badd butt from a diet of dead salmon he is sleeping in his own bed ready for the storm to end. He was named Stormy which fits him well. The calm before the storm made the company 1 more Queensland heeler rich. When something finds you........read between the lines and take care of it. Adopt a pet they have so much to give! Steelheading now has a new man on the steelhead spey fly fishing scene!

Never leave something that picks you. There is something bigger working upstairs..........you just have to look up from time to time.
Timothy's Stormy Orange Caddis flies inspired by a big storm and a dog that lives under the fly tying bench now. Good boy ................good boy!
Fly fishing dogs warm the home long after the sun goes down. This guy is clean happy and has a few things to call his own. The Chico California area is one fly fishing dog stronger. Go Stormy!
we are all heros in the eye of the steelhead fly fishing dog that loves us. Even when we lose the one fish that took the fly all day. Whoof!

  1. Awesome post! A fishing pup is the best fishing partner anyone will ever have! Their eyes never stop encouraging you to fish more and their love for being by your side is priceless.
